Projects

From its inception, SPARC has focused on funding and administrating projects that will help increase P-16 educational attainment in the area. Many of these

projects are collaborative efforts with other organizations and businesses.

• ACT PLAN & EXPLORE assessment given to all 8th & 10th grade students
• Research project to survey graduating seniors
• College access advisor expansion
• Career planning class developed
• Mentoring program initiated

Future projects include the development of a program to reduce the number of students needing remediation in college math & English, an early childhood awareness campaign, and a project to tract post-secondary attendance and progress of students graduating from area high schools.
